Philanthropy

American Red Cross

The brothers of Delta Sig continue to provide service for our national philanthropy, the American Red Cross, each semester. In the fall of 2017, we had many brothers donate and volunteer at two blood drives in the Ohio Union. We also began a new philanthropy event called Bubble Burst, raising awareness about human trafficking by partnering with She Has a Name. In the spring of 2017, we held our annual philanthropy event, Dog Days, which sends all of its proceeds to the American Red Cross. We raised over 3,000 dollars! Thank you to all who help us support the American Red Cross, we hope to see you at a philanthropy event soon!

BuckeyeThon

BuckeyeThon is Ohio State’s annual, student-run dance marathon benefiting Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. The Dance Marathon consists of two 12-hour shifts on February 5-6, with the final amount raised revealed at the end of the second shift on February 6.

In 2014 we raised more than $4,700. Last year we surpassed our goal and raised over $6,000. For Buckeyethon 2016 we continue to push ourselves to pay it forward. If you would like to support our BuckeyeThon team, please press the Make a Donation button to the right. Donations can only be made to individual team members; please feel free to donate to any member. Every donation, regardless of size, helps children in need.

More information about BuckeyeThon is available at their website, buckeyethon.osu.edu.
